This greenhouse is made from 2,500 glass photographic negatives culled from a database of more than 15,000 criminal mug shots from the turn of the 20th century. It was constructed at Rensselaer Polytechnic, NY in 2003 by collage artist and assistant professor Michael Oatman and a class of architecture students.
