This shipwreck on the Greek island of Zakynthos is rumoured to be a smuggling vessel which was wrecked while transporting cigarettes for the Italian mafia. The story goes that the Panagiotis ran aground in this sandy cove while fleeing from the Greek navy in stormy weather. Great yarn and an idyllic location - looks more attractive than London on this rainy Monday morning.
