Rogers took the images on the anniversary of the deaths, at the exact time of day they occurred, and in the precise position the car was before impact. Bonus trivia fact - the Mini Marc Bolan died in was driven by his then girlfriend Gloria Jones who originally recorded Tainted Love, later a hit for Soft Cell.
