Sleevelessness

I'm Phil Clandillon, an Irish designer and art director. I'm one half of an award winning creative team at Sony Music in London, UK. Sleevelessness is my blog about advertising, graphic design, digital music and the web. And stuff. Everyone likes stuff. You can look at my work here, and follow me on Twitter here.

The Trucker
Artist Boo Ritson actively involves her models in the creation of her work, by painting directly on their skin and clothes and photographing the results. Ritson requires the paint to be wet when the photographs of her sitters are taken, so the process of creating a work is an intense one, with the Ritson making rapid decisions against the clock.
The results are really striking, straddling the disciplines of painting, sculpture and photography.
