iPhone 3G - ten days in…
So I’ve had the fancy schmancy new 3G iPhone for ten days now. The low down is basically this:
It’s brilliant - you don’t need a laptop anymore for most web related tasks. The sound quality on the iPod is excellent and YouTube is genius. Syncing it with your Mac or PC is easy, so unlike every other smartphone on the market, you’ll actually put music on this thing and listen to it.
The battery life is terrible - expect to charge once a day. If you need longer than that you might want to think about one of these.
The GPS doesn’t really work. It seems to be a software problem which Apple will probably fix in September, but for the moment you can forget relying on it to get you anywhere.
